Fighters were pitted against each other via the point system this week and matches were as follows:

Remarks: The fighters took advantage of this less trap-ridden map by taking runs at each other both savagely and swiftly. The fight went on for quite some time as both fighters proved they could bring not only their offensive but defensive capabilities to the arena as well. There was much swinging and dodging in the center of the arena, but it was Aposiopesis who finally fell to Dassina’s crowbill after a good long fight.

Remarks: TheBlackCloud ran in to a mine early on while clashing with KittyKat along the north half of the arena. The fight ran on for quite some time in the north-western corner. TheBlackCloud chased KittyKat in to the southwestern corner but strayed in to a spike along the way, which took her out of the match immediately.

Remarks: Cigi accosted Tokiko repeatedly along the southern wall but ran in to (and was taken out by) a pair of spike traps while approaching and backing away one last time.

Remarks: Rieeda lost swiftly having neglected to bring a weapon to the match. As she was unable to evade traps while being pursued by her opponent and unable to deal damage back to her opponent, she fell rather quickly, allowing Patrice to advance to Round Two without significant difficulty.
Redemption Rounds:

Remarks: Aposiopesis immediately approached the western cell door as her opponent emerged from it. Realizing her opponent was attacking with some speed, TheBlackCloud stepped up her game and responded with similar ferociousness. Both fighters dodged and chased along the perimeter of the map, away from the various mines, spikes, gas and pit traps, for some time, but it was Aposiopesis who expired first, yielding the match to a still relatively healthy TheBlackCloud Oh.

Remarks:Both fighters were immediately accosted by spikes and gas traps upon exit of the cells, however Cigi was able to take down Rieeda rather quickly with her crowbill when they met in the center of the arena.

Remarks: Cigi ran in to some mine traps almost immediately as she attacked TheBlackCloud’s end of the arena straight out of the gates. Unable to escape them while backing away, her health was found to be significantly affected by this point and it only took a few swipes from TheBlackCloud’s crowbill to take her down in a pit trap .
Round Two:

Remarks: Manimals Tokiko and Dassina met each other at the center of the map, attacking at a frenzied pace. Dassina ran in to the one central spike trap about half-way through the fight and this seemed to contribute significantly to Tokiko’s subsequent win.

Remarks: KittyKat walked almost carelessly in to a half-dozen gas traps straight out of the gate in order to reach her opponent quickly. Her gamble paid off as she was able to both deal enough damage to Patrice and force enough poison gas on her to have her fall first.
Final Round:

Remarks: Tokiko and TheBlackCloud clashed first out of the gates, until KittyKat jumped in part-way through to join in the fight. Taking a moment to jump to safety in the south-west corner, Tokiko was able to avoid further damage while KittyKat turned to attack TheBlackCloud briefly. After some time to recouperate, Tokiko returned to clash with KittyKat, traversing across the map to the east side of the map after some time and forcing KittyKat in to a saw, which ultimately took her down. As Tokiko turned to approach her remaining opponent, TheBlackCloud attempted a Hooper Gambit on a central gas trap and failing, headed north a few steps, inadvertently straying in to a mine, which took her out of the match entirely.
