The finalists for Fight Night in the week of July 31st were VoidTraveler Seetan (1st), Cigi Sahara (2nd), and theblackcloud Oh (3rd). Fighters were pitted against each other via the point system this week. The matches (and Remarks!) were as follows:

Remarks: Apo strikes a mine for starters before these two clashed in the center. Their fight moved with ferocity from pit to pit, in and out. Void disengaged from this dance briefly and Apo pursued only to meet her end against his blade.

Remarks: Cigi rushed in swinging but then pulling back, relying on hit-and-run tactics while Kittykat stalked her prey around the arena as any ghoulish feline manimal might do…not that we have many of those. Come to think of it, she’s the only one! Anyways, I digress…Cigi’s hunting tactics won in the end and she put the cat down.

Remarks: Malice made an epic return to Fight Night in this long fight. He also deployed hit-and-run tactics while also circling theblackcloud during the battle. Looks like his dizzying attack, although impressive, just wasn’t enough because theblackcloud remained standing over his fallen form when all was finally said and done.

Remarks: These two met in the middle for their fight, but stepped carefully around the arena to avoid the various traps. Apo tripped a poison gas trap and veered too close to another, getting the sharp end of some spikes. Bleeding, poisoned, and weakened severely, she made a run for the Hooper Gambit but luck wasn’t on her side. She succumbed to the poison, giving Kittykat the win.

Remarks: These two fierce ladies didn’t waste any time, quickly leaping at each other with slashing crowbills. Cigi won this fast brutal fight but it just goes to show that the women of the Wastelands, regardless of race, are not to be taken lightly at Fight Night. Typically, they’re more eager and bloodthirsty than any of the males for a chance to jump into the Potato Farm arena!

Remarks: Malice was possibly TOO eager to leap into this fight against his fellow ghoul because he landed directly on a spike trap. The two fungal fighters took their battle into a pit-fight for a time. Malice climbed out only to hit upon more spikes, putting an end to the match.

Remarks: theblackcloud Oh and Kittykat delivered another long and epic fight. They kept the battle circling around the perimeter of the arena, avoiding the central collection of fire and gas traps this map offers. theblackcloud Oh wins, progressing to the final.

Remarks: Void started things off with a series of bangs, taking aim at his opponents while they tried to determine a safe route through the random layout of the arena traps. theblackcloud managed to spike herself while the ghoul took safe refuge in a corner. Void switched to his trusted nailgun, finishing off his opponents to secure the victory and taking home yet another Fight Night trophy. It joined the others mounted above the doorways of Motel 666 in the Junkyard.
