A points system was used this week, however due to extenuating circumstances the final official match was called off and instead featured NeoBokrug Elytis fighting KittyKat Borkotron.
Matches were as follows:
Round One
Combatants | Weapons | Map | Winner |
Remarks: Both fighters were relatively new to the Fight Night arena and ran in to multiple mines during their match. Riley was the last person standing.
Remarks: Both fighters moved at high speed but due to the exceptional amount of space afforded by the Fort Stygian map were able to fight most of the match unhindered by traps. A volley of grenades was launched at the 14 minute mark but the fighters continued for a few minutes afterward, occasionally attempting Hooper Gambits and emerging with mixed results. The fight ended a couple of minutes later when a second volley was launched, taking Mira out of the match.
Remarks: The match started off once again on the Fort Stygian map. Virus attempted a Hooper Gambit early in the match, becoming poisoned in the process. Each player switched weapons a number of times – after an extended chase mostly by Virus after Psycho, Psycho changed tactics and attempted to gain the upper hand by attacking from a distance with a number of guns. After a map change mid-fight, Psycho ran in to a saw trap and expired abruptly.
Remarks: Smokey ran in to a spike trap, recieving both damage and poison early in the match. The fighters kept a mostly tight match afterward near the northern edge of the map, however Smokey fell first due to his injuries.
Remarks: Camden nicked a saw on his way out of the gate, then ran in to a couple of mines. He managed to hold on for about a half minute afterward but succumbed to injuries incurred while attacking his opponent.
Remarks: Tight fighting, no traps triggered, however Aposiopesis was arguably taken out of the match by radioactive damage dealt by a piece of salvage that fell in the arena.
Remarks: Evil ran in to numerous mine and spike traps at high speed while attempting to hit the more seasoned KittyKat and expired within a minute of the match start.
Remarks: Riley ran in to several saw traps during the match. While she managed to hold out for about a minute and a half, the damage she accumulated from both the traps and Dassina’s clobbering stick proved too much.
Remarks: Smokey hit a couple of mines early in the match. Despite a relatively tight (but high speed) match following this, Smokey expired first.
Remarks: Camden forfeited the match after accidentally flying during a jump.
Remarks: Mostly tight match confined to clearer areas earlier on, but both players made heavy use of gas traps closer to the end of the match.
Remarks: Fighting was concentrated mostly in the north-eastern corner until such time that Virus fled to the southern edge of the arena in an attempt to trip up her opponent. While no traps were sprung, Fei received the most damage during the match and thus expired first.
Remarks: A tight match fought in earnest, however whether through unfamiliarity or rustiness, Neobokrug was incapacitated quickly after running in to two mines and , leaving KittyKat the clear winner of the match.
