Below is a short summary of the latest Community Meeting, followed by its chat logs – which have been gently edited for formatting, to put questions and answers in bold for easy skimming, and to omit greetings and farewells and other such asides. Meetings are hosted by Estate owner NeoBokrug Elytis at 2:00 pm on the first Saturday of every month at The Potato Farm in The Wastelands, and the discussion is typically divided into three main topics: Estate, Game, and Roleplay & Events. Everyone is welcome to attend!
ESTATE:
➳ Occupancy has dipped – but a couple upcoming events might bring more people in…
➳ Neo is finalizing the Tier Meter updates for Caledon, New Toulouse, and The Wastelands.
➳ The main Tier Payment Panel now allows residents to add a Partner on any of their parcels – without having to contact Neo directly. (The Partner must be present to authorize being added.)
➳ After login, it also now shows the current exchange rate from L$ to USD.
➳ Residents will soon be able to customize the near-due notifications from Unbridled Rage, skipping the 7-day, 3-day, or 2-day notices. The notifications of one day left, zero days left, or overdue tier will not be skippable.
➳ Neo intends to update the information boards at each region’s landing point.
➳ Northgate updates are still planned, but not until after December.
➳ There may be some manner of collaboration with other Community Gateways.
➳ There is still a possibility – hypothetically – for new users who register through the Northgate Community Gateway to sign up with a unique last name available nowhere else. Suggestions are welcome! Submit them in the Discord thread, or send a notecard to Neo. There’ll be a vote at some point.
GAME:
➳ Neo has had no time for game updates.
➳ After the tier updates are finished, Neo will begin work on the Halloween Quest.
➳ He still intends to update the Battle For Burnt Oak with some bugfixes and new loot, and set it so it automatically deploys itself once or twice a month.
➳ Neo may also create a new kind of Giftmas event in the game, different from the usual collectibles.
➳ Next year, Neo may update the HUD to use LinksetData to rebalance the weapons.
ROLEPLAY & EVENTS:
➳ The Rondyvoo returns on Saturday, September 13! Market stalls are still available for customization.
➳ Henry, the decipherer of Ruined Papers, may have something to offer at the event…
➳ Last year’s Steam Meets Scrap event returns on Saturday, September 27 with a new name – Chrono Clash. Featuring performers from The Wastelands, Caledon, and New Toulouse!
➳ Trigger Treat, The Wastelands’ Halloween party, returns on Saturday, October 25th!
➳ In partnership with SL Syndicate, the Salvage Station shopping event returns this November! As in 2021, it will feature a slimmed-down variation of the scavenging and crafting game.
➳ Event runners will soon be able to post recurring events on Discord. This will also mean people could mark themselves Interested in an event just once to receive reminders, instead of having to do it every week.

Currently you get notifications on 7 days, and three days or less. You will be able to disable some notifications on an SL account level (not parcel). You can disable, 7, 3, and 2 day notifications. You will still get notifications if you have one or fewer days remaining.

NeoBokrug Elytis: Now that I am not killing myself on tier things (guilt), I will have a bit more spare time, and I am sure the things I am working on will give me the want for a break from it. So I can probably get that Burnt Oak Tree into automating spawning on a regular weekend or sometihng.

Last year it was 12 hours long with 12 performers, and while that’s nice I also have a new estate to wrangle. So I am shooting for less than 12 hours, with equal contributions from each estate.
