The Post-Apocalyptic Press is currently digging into their pile of Fight Night and War Zone notes that were scattered about during the last couple of months. In an effort to quickly catch up on our records, here’s the first of several forthcoming Fight Night reports. On November 28th of 2009, Pirate Graves (3), Sandusky Kayvon (2) and Dassina Andel (1), were the Fight Night finalists.
Fighters were pitted against each other under the classical tournament system this week and matches were as follows:
Round One:

Remarks: Vicious slicing by both veterans of the Arena who mostly avoided the gas trap rings.

Remarks: The Sandworm’s spikes brought this fight to a quick finish.

Remarks: The Digger was rusty stepping back into the Arena, tempting fate with the gas traps too little and too late, but still no candy for the Ghost.

Remarks: Another blood thirsty contest as fighters bled each other with their weapons and tripping on a few saws.
Redemption Round:

Remarks: Raze’s gas trap addiction develops. Re-hab is scheduled.

Remarks: Long fight between these two as they narrowly avoided the spikes.
|
|
Remarks: The two old-timers traded hits in the arena and in the pits, Raze’s forte, but the Digger managed to dig his way through to redemption.
Round Two:

Remarks: Ghoul versus ghoul in a tough battle, but Graves burst Void’s chances of proceeding to the final.

Remarks: A long fight between two evasive opponents. Less traps denied the Arena its thirst for blood.
Final Round:

Remarks: The tigress came out shooting. Graves and the Digger gave chase, aiming to close the distance but fell from the slugs.
