Fighters were pitted against each other via the classic tournament system this week and matches were as follows:
Round One:

Remarks: KittyKat and TheBlackCloud clashed early, each tripping spike traps as they tried to avoid swings from their crowbills. Subsequent saw and spike damage along with accumulated damage from KittyKat’s crowbill saw TheBlackCloud fall some minutes later.

Remarks: This lengthy fight featured newcomer Zack moving quickly around the whole of the arena, frequently clashing with Aposiopesis while both successfully avoided tripping the mine traps scattered about. Despite Zack’s immense stature and agility,Aposiopesis was able to hold out until the end of the fight, finally taking her opponent down with weapon damage alone.

Remarks: This fight saw VoidTraveller sustaining saw damage early on while Moondoggie charged her opponent repeatedly. The pair moved toward the perimeter of the arena, deftly avoiding the border of pit traps, then moved back to the middle, where Moondoggie lost control and ran in to a couple of saw traps. She eventually succumbed to her injuries while avoiding VoidTraveller near the pit traps.

Remarks: Fighters maintained a tight chase until Zeroyel strayed in to a poison trap, while Sandusky hit a bunch of spikes. Zeroyel hit another poison trap, along with a mine while contronting Sandusky in a corner. The two continued to chase each other from corner to corner, Sandusky receiving more spike damage with every pass, until he fell, leaving Zeroyel to proceed to Round Two.
Redemption Round:

Remarks: Both fighters successfully avoided traps early on, however Zach’s decline began as he ran in to first a spike, then a gas trap. Diminuitive TheBlackCloud kept up a solid stream of attacks afterward, and Zack fell from accumulated trap and weapon damage shortly afterward.

Remarks: Sandusky and Moondoggie clashed early and speedily during this quick match. Moondoggie ran in to a spike early on, but much of the fight was characterized by swift movements and deft avoidance of traps until Sandusky was finally brought down by a gas trap.

Remarks: Both fighters kept their clashes near the edges of the arena, avoiding the more dangerous traps. As such, their match became mostly about direct weapon damage, clustered in a corner. TheBlackCloud fell about two minutes after the arena horn sounded the beginning of the match.
Round Two:

Remarks: Aposiopesis dealt heavy bleed damage to her opponent early on, which pushed Kittykat backwards in to a mine. Kittykat attempted to keep up the chase as Aposiopesis backed away, however she eventually fell from accumulated incindiary and weapons damage.

Remarks: Both fighters hit gas traps early on, receiving poison damage, and confined their fighting to a tight area bordered by gas traps and peppered by pit traps. Continuing to gamble on the gas traps for their 50/50 chance of healing gas, both attempted to evade damage by jumping in and out of the pits. Despite making a valiant effort, Zeroyel eventually fell, as his clobbering stick proved to be no match for a flayer.
Final Round:

Remarks: Aposiopesis and VoidTraveller squared off first, keeping their fighting tight and mostly avoiding traps until Aposiopesis strayed in to a saw trap, which took her out of the running for first place. Moondoggie, having watched the exchange from afar, then moved in to atteck her remaining opponent. In an effort to escape, VoidTraveller jumped away but ran in to a spike along the way. Bleeding and poisoned, he was accosted by Moondoggie once again and fell shortly afterward.
