Fighters were pitted against each other via the classic tournament system this week and matches were as follows:
Round One:

Remarks: Out of the gates, Sandusky attacked in an attempt to take his opponent out early. KittyKat was, however, able to fend him off, causing some bleed damage. Both fighters attempted to move about the arena carefully, but KittyKat sustained spike damage trying to get at Sandusky, who was standing on a blank tile near the middle, surrounded by traps. Exchanging blows briefly, KittyKat fled for a safer spot on the map, chased closely by Sandusky, but eventually fell from her wounds.

Remarks: This match featured tight, fast, and controlled melee for the most part, with TheBlackCloud receiving spike damage early in. Striving on, she was able to persevere and keep the match mostly away from the traps, eventually taking Zeroyel down.

Remarks: New to the arena, Drunk learned that players are not the only things to be watched out for, as he ran in to a series of spikes and saws, taking his health down considerably. Taking advantage of Drunk’s lack of a melee defense, Aposiopesis was then able to swoop in and cut him down easily.
Redemption Round:

Remarks: Slowed down by saw and poison gas damage, Barry was taken down quickly by KittyKat’s swift and vicious crowbill.

Remarks: Zeroyel made short work of Drunk, deftly avoiding the traps while steering his opponent in to them. Drunk received various damage from mines, spikes and gas along the way and fell shortly after the match began.

Remarks: Avoiding swings from Kittykat’s crowbill, Zeroyel was unable to avoid poison gas and mine traps during this match, leading to his loss.
Round Two:

Remarks:None

Remarks: Aposiopesis was poisoned early, while TheBlackCloud began to visibly bleed from injuries received from Aposiopesis’ crowbill. Their fight remained fairly tight until Aposiopesis received additional spike damage, allowing TheBlackCloud to finish her off with a few more strikes.
Final Round:

Remarks: Kittykat was poisoned early on and TheBlackCloud received bleed damage as well from a confrontation with Sandusky. The contestants engaged each other for a roughly equal amount of time, shifting focus consistantly so as to avoid allowing any one player to remain unscathed. However, both KittyKat and TheBlackCloud found their share of poison gas and spike traps throughout the match. Kittykat expired after significant poison damage and one last spike while pursued by TheBlackCloud, then TheBlackCloud also fell while pursuing Sandusky across the corner of the map, receiving damage from two spike traps and expiring shortly afterward.
