Remarks: Newcomer Nino was introduced to fighting in the arena the hard way, running in to a mine, two poison and a spike trap before meeting up with Aposiopesis along the east end of the arena. Having lost a considerable amount of health from that initial rush, Nino was taken down rather quickly afterward by a few swipes from Aposiopesis’ flayer.

Remarks: VoidTraveller ran in to a spike trap almost immediately out of the gate but was able to take some time to compose himself while KittyKat contended with a malfunctioning gate, which delayed her entrance to the arena for a few moments. KittyKat also received some spike damage as she attempted to step across a diagonal line of spikes to reach her opponent, but failed. The combatants exchanged blows for perhaps a half minute more, at which point KittyKat fell from accumulated weapons damage.

Remarks: Tokiko ran in to a spike trap early while tussling with Cigi, then fled northward for a moment to compose herself and recover. Chased by Cigi for a short time afterward, Tokiko strayed southward then to the southwestern corner, running in to a spike trap, which did her in.

Remarks: While evading her opponent, TheBlackCloud ran in to a spike trap early on. Fortunately, she was able to keep her wits about her afterward, while long time resident Barry Warinata got reacquainted with the arena traps first-hand. After running in to a series of two spike traps and a gas trap, Barry failed to be a significant obstacle to TheBlackCloud’s progression to the next level.

Remarks: As is typically the case, this fight on the clear map ran for a long while with each fighter attacking and evading each other at high speed. The Tin Man launched a couple of firebombs in to the arena after about five minutes, dealing some radiation damage to Aposiopesis first, then Dassina some moments later, however Aposiopesis had already fallen by this point, allowing Dassina to gain a point.

Remarks: The fighters moved gingerly around the mines scattered throughout this arena map. Aposiopesis ran in to one early on and attempted to hold on long enough to take her opponent down, but the accumulated damage from the mine and VoidTraveller’s flayer were too much and Aposiopesis was taken out of the running for a finalist spot.

Remarks: Cigi fell rather quickly due to fire damage from a mine and repeated attacks from VoidTraveller and his flayer.

Remarks: Immediately following her loss to VoidTraveller, Cigi sought to redeem herself against TheBlackCloud in a relatively trap-free fighting area. Neither fighter strayed in to any traps, but TheBlackCloud fell first after an extended high speed tussle.

Remarks: TheBlackCloud failed in her attempt to gain the second point that would take her to the final round – Cloudy received bleed damage from a spike trap early on. Dassina ran in to a mine shortly afterward, but applied a medkit to stop any further the damage over time. The fight was confined mostly to the south-western corner of the map where the fighters went at each other for quite some time at furious speed, however the match did not come to a natural end, as a firebomb was randomly launched in to the arena, taking TheBlackCloud out almost immediately.
