This week, Fight Night results and remarks were courtesy of Aposiopesis Fullstop. Fighters were pitted against each other in a series of brawls instead of strict one-versus-one fights. The map makers were used for all fights, deploying maps created by the other fighters and spectators and loaded into the Arena by NeoBokrug Elytis.

Remarks: Trap-filled map. KittyKat fell quickly to a host of spikes, and Dia met her share of traps as well. Ccindy wisely hid in a corner until KittyKat fell, then moved in for the kill. Dots abounded, but Dia finally fell.
Round Two

Remarks: Lots of gas – fortunately, many healing. Rohan had trouble in a corner with spikes, running the Gambit with gas to early success. Cloudy tried to stay evasive, but was punched out by Zero. More spike trouble in the corners between Zero and Dass, as Rohan kept running, a dose of poison and bleed trailing behind until falling to the spikes. Dass charges Zero, more spikes. Trailing poison, Zero flees, swinging when close. More close fighting in the corners – and he falls to Dass at last.

Remarks: Ccindy catches gas early and a dose of poison. Cautious fight as Ccindy steps aside while Dia and KittyKat battle near the center, dodging saw blades. Dia runs into a blade while evading KittyKat. The feline ghoul and the mutant witch go for the gas. More healing gas for Dia. Ccindy still watches from afar. KittyKat gets more heals- but a dose of poison at the end. Ccindy approaches her at the gate and she evades, running into Dia. KittyKat and Ccindy confront as Dia now bides her time during their short showdown. KittKat runs the gambit picking up lots of poison. KittyKat and Dia joust again while Ccindy waits. More gas, a mix of healing and dots. Dia drops to KittyKat’s blade which turns to confront Ccindy. Another Gambit for KittyKat with some success – she ends with a DoT of poison or two., but scores more healing. Ccindy jumps and dodges, goading the ghoul to approach – she jumps over her, and KK sucks up more gas instead. And more DoTs. KittyKat falls from her poison soon thereafter.
Round Five

Remarks: A quick rush to the middle – and lots of poison gas. Rohan strikes the landmine – dosing him with fire to go along with his poison. Hooper Gambit only earns him more. He continues the gambit, then everyone piles in the corner and chases each other. Rohan goes for the gambit again, leaking blood. Cloudy to the corner pit. Dass and Zero keep busy with each other, as Rohan maneuvers and cloudy looks on carefully. Zeroyel catches cloudy but catches poison; Dass takes Rohan who departs for more gambit but wisely dodges the mine. Cloudy to the far corner as the others fight at the north wall, piling up in the corners. Zero approaches cloudy again, and it’s a pileup in her corner and a brief fall into the pits. Rohan keep smacking the runs. Cloudy breaks to watch, Rohan gambits, Zero and Dass pitfight at the southeast corner. Cloudy moves to the northwest corner as Rohan runs, while cat circles canine. Zero takes some poison in search of healing, and all converge on Cloudy. Rohan dies mid-gambit as everyone else piles up – Zero falls in the corner and it’s Cloudy versus Dassina. Cloudy scores a lucky heal and they bound in and out of the northeast hole, both swinging wildly and dodging, triping over Zero’s fallen corpse. Cloudy slips into some poison, but takes no DoT, just damage. The cat continues to dodge and evade. Fight stays close to the corner, circling the hole. Steady rhythm of swipes – Cloudy breaks for the other corner, Dass takes gas on the chase. She dips into the corner hole, then the circling continues. Cloudy dips into the hole again, a high jump out, and a break for the southwest corner. More circling and dodging. Cloudy breaks for the northwest again, circles. Dass takes no damage en route. A quick hide in the corner and a leap from the ledge – then circling and a dodge back to the northeast. A dip into the hole once more and out for more combat. Cloudy breaks – hits a DoT-less pioson, and it’s to the southeast corner. circling and weaving once more, quick evasions, no clear strikes. Cloudy lands more gas – accident or maneuver – but earns a poison dot. End in sight? Still a strong fight in the corner until Cloudy finally falls.

Remarks: The map is a riot of landmines, gas, sawblades and pits, but with a few clear places. A long and tough fight, with Tokiko and Dass clearly teaming up against Ccindy, who falls in a pit after a long and valiant effort. Disapproving of the lack of sportsmanship, Neo gives Ccindy a second chance – Tokiko swiftly falls, Dassina is already running the Hooper Gambit, and it’s not long before both cats fall. Showing sportsmanship herself, Ccindy insists upon taking third place regardless.
