Despite a strange light in the sky, some curious discoveries and the arrival of an odd stranger in the Wastelands (more on that later as I continue to dig for information and clues), scavengers once again gathered at the Potato Farm for another test of their combat skills. The rustman, NeoBokrug Elytis, hosted another Fight Night featuring impressive one-on-one conflicts between Wastelanders.
The combatants during the point matches were the following: VoidTraveler Seetan of the Scarab Tribe, Kaycen Lament of the Shadow Claws, Aki Shichroji of the Post-Apocalyptic Press, Dassina Andel of the Renegades, and Aposiopesis Fullstop and Raze Repine of the Trade Post. These brave fighters sliced and shot at each other through many fights as the Arena tested their fleet feet. The cruel Potato Farm seemed focused on throwing various mine trap arrangements at them with each fight.
In the end, three of the challengers, each having achieved two victories in the point matches, were left to fight it out for the prize. Aki Shichiroji, Aposiopesis Fullstop, and Raze Repine. It was a display of strategic restraint as Aki and Aposiopesis focused nearly all of their attention upon each other while Raze cautiously kept his distance from the two fierce women of the Wastelands. Those ladies danced with death as the burly Raze observed, casually smoking his cigar and smoothing his bristly thick moustache. Finally, Aposiopesis fell from her wounds and Raze strode in, quickly finishing off an already battered Aki.
Afterwards, the victorious Raze Repine, known by all for his polite manner as well as his deadly knife, remarked with wry grin, “When two women are fighting, a gentleman keeps a step back.” His fellow Wastelanders chuckled but I’m sure they reminded themselves not to get too focused on just one foe in future fights.
