Fighters were pitted against each other via the classic tournament system this week and matches were as follows:
Round One:

Remarks: Characterized by much movement across the map, but very tight hand-to-hand skirmishes.

Remarks: Fast-paced fight which saw newcomer Tresha assaulted with a plethora of slashes from CCindy’s crowbill quite early. She eventually strayed in to a saw, then mine and found her demise in the corner.

Remarks: Mostly close-up combat throughout the match. Enenra slipped up and walked in to a saw trap, then a mine, falling shortly thereafter.

Remarks: Steve took early saw, mine and poison damage while being chased by Sandusky. The combination of these things led to his eventual demise as he was chased down and overtaken.
Redemption Round:

Remarks: Tresha managed to elude traps and much weapon damage as multiple spikes proved to be a hindrance to Aposiopesis in pursuit.

Remarks: Both sides triggered gas traps in massive quantities hoping to stave off death with a gamble on healing gas – long enough to win the match. The match ended in a pit fight, with Enenra emerging victorious.

Remarks: Tight fight – Enenra emerged victorious despite taking a hit from a spike mid-match.
Round Two:

Remarks: Moondoggie received multiple saw damage early along with both healing and poison gas, yet managed to hang on through much close combat as CCindy fell to her blade.

Remarks: Void received some spike and multiple gas damage early on but was fortuitous enough to receive three hits of healing gas shortly thereafter. Emerging from a pit trap with a nailgun, VoidTraveller attempted to take Sandusky down from a distance, but eventually switched back to a crowbill as Sandusky proved to be elusive and crafty, drawing his opponent in for close combat. He managed to hang on while Sandusky fell from accumulated damage, however, advancing him to the final round.
Final Round:

Remarks: All combatants took spike, poison damage and saw damage early – Enenra falling first, then Moondoggie after an extended chase, skirmish and final run-in with a spike.
