Community Meeting: March 2, 2022

Below is a short summary of the latest Community Meeting, followed by its chat logs – which have been gently edited for formatting, to put questions and answers in bold for easy skimming, and to omit greetings and farewells and other such asides.  Meetings are hosted by Estate owner NeoBokrug Elytis at 2:00 pm on the first Saturday of every month at The Potato Farm in The Wastelands, and the discussion is typically divided into three main topics: Estate, Game, and Roleplay & Events.  Everyone is welcome to attend!

ESTATE:

➳ Since Linden Lab made the decision to apply sales tax to service-based fees, like regions and accounts,  Neo will be raising tier prices by between 6% and 7% at the end of the month.
➳ This tier increase doesn’t reflect his state’s full sales tax rate, and it’s being applied only to the costs he pays – not to the markup.
➳ He reminds everyone that the Free Move program is still in place, in case current landowners want to relocate to smaller or cheaper plots without paying the full buy-in cost for a new parcel.
➳ Occupancy has gone down slightly, but trends from the previous years suggest it might increase again later in the spring.
➳ Progress on the Northgate Community Gateway continues slowly: Neo is working on a visual-based HUD to help guide new users regardless of their language.
➳ LL’s region configuration changes have improved script performance tremendously: the test of War Zone in Cormac worked very well, suggesting that Homesteads can support more script-intensive features.
➳ There’s still a plan to make a feature that will allow owners of multiple plots to have each parcel’s tier due the same date.

GAME:
Moon Phase and Weather Updates
➳ In between work on other projects, Neo has been working on using scripted Windlight and Environmental Enhancement Project (EEP) features to be representative of the RP weather (which is based on historical weather data from an undisclosed realworld desert location.)
➳ There is now a beta of moon phases, currently based on Earth’s moon: the moon image will update to show the appropriate phase for that night.  ➳ Cloud cover also reflects that of the RP weather.
➳ Lighting is also dynamic: it’s darker when there’s more cloud cover, or when the moon is less full.
➳ Neo has submitted multiple bug reports and feature requests related to EEP, including that the settings which modify the estate Windlight were being applied before the estate Windlight itself had loaded, and that settings temporarily revert to default when crossing sim lines.
➳ Goals for future updates include haze, dust storms, lightning strikes, and other features.
➳ In the planned Wild Plants system, they will be hydrated by rainfall as well as by user watering.
➳ Anne Cloud is working on a new custom – and broken apart – moon texture, and the phases will reset once it’s in place.

llRequestsimulatorData() Bugs
➳ LL changed the way the llRequestSimulatorData() function works, which broke salvage temporarily.
➳ Crates spawn from The Wastelands region itself, and they use llRequestSimulatorData() to determine which regions are online and can be navigated through or landed in.  They also use that function to keep track if the region they landed on is restarting.
➳ llRequestSimulatorData() has begun to randomly, silently fail, so crates were unable to receive that data about where they could go.
➳ Neo put in some updates and created a workaround so that, instead of killing the crate, it now tries again and informs Neo of the error. Crates spawn again, but often after several errors.

ROLEPLAY & EVENTS:
➳ Another new weekly event joins the roster: Lillie’s Amuse Bouche, in which Lillie sings live blues and more from her ruined amusement park.
➳  This is in addition to the two new events that began late last month:
Gomi’s Garbo Cinematic Expulsion, a double-feature of abysmal films at Burnt Oak Drive-In, hosted on random Sunday evenings by Gomi Mfume.
Unstructured Playtime, wherein Diamanda Gustafson performs live, semi-improvisational looping music
➳ Irk has unfortunately had to abandon his Mutant Village build.
➳ Frustrations can be taken out in the triangular fighting cage Ccindy built near The Shatterdome in The Great Fissure.
➳ Apo and Malice are hoping to turn the plot south of The N into a combat training area, with information on game weapons and ways to practice navigation and technique.
➳ There’s some resurgence of interest in arming people up to find – and get vengeance upon – Multa and the Ashen Traders.
➳ Another no-reason Wasted Karaoke may take place sometime in March.
➳ Early Notice: The Red Revival, a Ghoulish celebration of life and death in The Wastelands, returns on Saturday, April 23rd!  If you want to DJ – or want to use the occasion to have your character go Ghoul – get in touch with Apo.
➳ Reminder: The roleplay character template has been added to the Wiki – add yours today!

I. THE ESTATE

NeoBokrug Elytis: Time for Community Meeting. :)
NeoBokrug Elytis: As per the usual we’ll talk about the three main aspects of the estate with time for questions and comments in between. Those aspects being; Estate and Land, The Game, and Role Play & Events. The last being a mostly open floor discussion for said topics. :)
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): yayyyyyyy!!!
NeoBokrug Elytis: Before we really get going though, please bear with me I am getting error messages from some inworld things — which I will talk about later. So it may take me a bit longer to scroll back and catch up on things. Additionally, my keyboard has been a little on the fritz, so it may or may not behave and cause me plenty of typos.
NeoBokrug Elytis: Wouldn’t be a Wastelands event if things went perfectly. :)
Memory Harker: :D
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): truedat
Rob Niosaki: oh
Rob Niosaki: These tiles vanish for more fight pressure?
Aposiopesis Fullstop: I like that your keyboard keeps particularly not cooperating on the A key and the F key. It’s broken AF!
NeoBokrug Elytis: Starting with estate and land; occupancy has taken a bit of a slump. Which is to be a little expected from the influx of a few residents from the 15th birthday celebration who have left.
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): *rimshot*
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Sometimes, yes, Rob!
xrrawva: the get replaced by traps for custom maps
NeoBokrug Elytis: Once spring break comes back, we’ll get a huge influx again.
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): always need fresh meat!
NeoBokrug Elytis: I expect to coast a bit until then though, maybe gain a resident or two.
NeoBokrug Elytis: Work on North Gate remains slow. I have been putting most of my spare time into working on the HUD that will accompany the activities to help people along. I have the basis for a system build to have multiple translations for things that DO require words — but I am still striving to do most of the place without words.
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): without words is sorta more in theme anyhow XD
NeoBokrug Elytis: LLs recent region configuration changes from Last Month are REALLY DANG NICE. We had Warzone in Cormac with no issues. The regions are performing super great script-wise; like when it was before things started to get bad. I was once or twice tempted to be lazy with my scripting because of it.
Memory Harker: Oh, Rob, just you wait. You’ll wish the tiles only vanished. :P
NeoBokrug Elytis: But I am going to pretend like they’re always broken, just to keep the scripting working in any environment should the bad performant days come back
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Hah, probably wise.
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): LL kinda has a history of derping things.
NeoBokrug Elytis: And, because they’re performing so well, I am inclined to try a few script intensive things on homesteads — but only when I have time.
Sandling Honey: Thanks Bea :D
Katarin Kiergarten: now those are words one would never expect to hear in SL
NeoBokrug Elytis: Now for perhaps the hard discussion.
Rob Niosaki: I used to play games where the ground in the boss fight vanished like in Wario
Memory Harker: Uh oh.
Memory Harker hunkers down.
NeoBokrug Elytis: At the end of the month LL is going to be applying sales tax to most service based fees, like regions and accounts for folks who live in the US. The cumulative sales tax where I live is higher than most places. So I will have to raise tier to match it. However, I am not going to raise it the full rate I am charged.
NeoBokrug Elytis: I will instead raise it ONLY to the costs I pay, and keep my markup the same.
NeoBokrug Elytis: That should ease the tier increases.
Memory Harker: *nods*
NeoBokrug Elytis: Tier will be going up anywhere from 6 to 7% before this month is over.
Memory Harker: *nods as if sagely*
NeoBokrug Elytis: Which again, isn’t my full tax rate. So I am trying to help out in that regard.
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa) nods with all the nodders
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Given what the sales tax is here… yeah, that could absolutely be worse. >_<
Memory Harker amplifies Mutsy’s nodding nod.
Irk (shannonwilsonbell): Well that’s too bad, but thanks for the notice and kind arrangement.
Katarin Kiergarten: my RL rate is 10% + so…I feel you
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): im starting see a patern there 2022
Candide LeMay laughs in 21% VAT
Katarin Kiergarten: yeah, still got nothing on VAT
Memory Harker: o.O
NeoBokrug Elytis: Are there any questions about Tier increases, or anything about land and estate?
Memory Harker: Small mercies everywhere. :)
Verity Goodnight: oh is there anything about the thing that makes all the dates your various parcels tier is due the same day?
Verity Goodnight: or is that still a “one day” thingy?
NeoBokrug Elytis: I have not worked on that yet. The current “hack” is to have a tier donation plate on your parcel, and have the alt pay one day at a time to it.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Is the Free Move program still in place? If a current landowner needed to tier down and move to a smaller plot, could they do that without having to pay the full buy-in cost for the new parcel?
NeoBokrug Elytis: The idea is in my head, but it is a complex bit of logic that would be pretty bad if I screwed it up.
NeoBokrug Elytis: The free move program is still in place. All qualifications needed to take part in it are still there. Let me dig up a URL
NeoBokrug Elytis: https://wiki.the-wastelands.org/Free_Move_Program
Memory Harker: wb Bea
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Solid.
NeoBokrug Elytis: Basically: I am the owner of the destination parcel. I do not combine parcels’ tier. It is strictly a 1 to 1 move.
NeoBokrug Elytis: The destination parcel must be at least topped off to 2 weeks of tier when it’s done.
NeoBokrug Elytis: Any other questions about any of that?
NeoBokrug Elytis: Let me throw a tip at Sandling before I forget.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: :D
NeoBokrug Elytis: Moving on to game stuff.

II. THE GAME

Rob Niosaki: tiredskyi
Sandling Honey: \ o /
NeoBokrug Elytis: Do we want to talk about the disgusting moon first, or recent game breaking changes LL made?
Sandling Honey: It’s made of cheese. Nuff said
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): cheese that’s gone a bit off.
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): hmm…?
NeoBokrug Elytis: Moon it is then! Specifically Windlight and Environmental Enhancement Project (EEP)
Irk (shannonwilsonbell): WL: Moldy Cheese Wheel
Aposiopesis Fullstop: I bet the disgusting moon discussion will trail off in interesting ways. So maybe the game errors?
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Ah.
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): Eep! =o.O=
Memory Harker: hahaha Irk!
NeoBokrug Elytis: Mostly on the weekends or Fridays I have been poking at making the moon and clouds representative of the RP weather that the HUD dispenses. Which in and of itself is based on real historical weather.
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): Mmmh, moldy cheese ❤
NeoBokrug Elytis: It has mostly been just flavor for role players, and folks have loved it for a long time.
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): nice :)
NeoBokrug Elytis: And ever since Windlight was initially planned, I have wanted to control the environment with scripts to reflect that.
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): now in that ancient weather report thers a time of moldy moon?
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): ghoul moon
NeoBokrug Elytis: But the original Windlight was at best unfinished, and when EEP came out recently it had a lot of things “finished”. But there’s still bugs which I am finding.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Delicious crunchy bugs.
NeoBokrug Elytis: Since then I’ve submitted 4 JIRAs relating to things I have been poking at. Because I have a habit of finding problems. Two are feature requests, two are legit bugs.
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): Neo now be known as NeoBokrug JIRAtis
Memory Harker giggles like a smol loon.
NeoBokrug Elytis: One bug, when I started working on Moon Phases at the end of last month was when an avatar would log in to the region, and my script would detect them as being new to the region. It would apply the moon before the sky even rendered for them. Which causes the bug where if any settings are applied, they’re applied to the default windlight, and not the estate windlight because it’s technically not loaded.
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): o.O
NeoBokrug Elytis: So what I figured out yesterday was that if I either 1) Wait until the region knows what an avatars RENDER_WEIGHT is (something the viewer reports to the region), or the avatar starts moving on the X-Y axis, I can then apply the moon.
NeoBokrug Elytis: Super hacky work-around for a bug, but good enough.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Oh, nice!
NeoBokrug Elytis: I had to include the x-y move, because render-weight isn’t always reported in a timely manner.
Verity Goodnight: I like the idea of applying a moon
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Hahaha, same.
NeoBokrug Elytis: So now I can effectively determine when an avatar is logging in to a region, teleported into a region, or is crossing a region. Which before was all mostly detectable as the same thing (because technically it is the same thing).
NeoBokrug Elytis: Anne Cloud is working on custom moon textures. And for now we have a placeholder earth moon.
NeoBokrug Elytis: The custom textures will feature a broken moon.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: \o/
Irk (shannonwilsonbell): Yay!
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): like from the tick? XD
NeoBokrug Elytis: With moon phases of it’s own.
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): THUNDAAR like that
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): wow :)
NeoBokrug Elytis: Yesterday, I also made it so that clouds are kind of mostly rendered. However the cloud cover will account for 40% of the current scenes gamma. ANother 40% will belong to the moon if it’s up.
NeoBokrug Elytis: WHich — on overcast nights with a new moon should make some dark nights.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: That is delightful.
NeoBokrug Elytis: I have yet to do the moon gamma logic.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: …Literally.
NeoBokrug Elytis: For now the cloud logic works, and I will be tweaking cloud cover appearance.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: “Moon Gamma Logic” is the name of my new prog rock band.
NeoBokrug Elytis: Also cloud cover now blots out the stars.
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): and finally we will know if the wastelands is on a square or on a flat surface with multiple squares linked together. we will see it on the shadow on the moon and know the truth
NeoBokrug Elytis: Haha
Memory Harker: XD
Aposiopesis Fullstop: FLATLANDER!
NeoBokrug Elytis: I plan to keep poking on the EEP settings when I am just tired of working on something else, because working on that is pretty delightful when it’s not infuriating in it’s own way.
NeoBokrug Elytis: For now it will be moon, clouds, and gamma. Once I understand other scripted settings better, and Windlight settings better, I will take control of more things.
NeoBokrug Elytis: All you need to be part of this is to be in The Wastelands experience.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: It’s really pleasant so far! It was deep night with heavy clouds while I was scavenging earlier, and there was a lovely low gloom.
NeoBokrug Elytis: One annoyance is that if you cross region borders, there’s a “dip” in region settings — but it does come back
NeoBokrug Elytis: I will be taking into account twilight and dawn into all my weather calculations.
NeoBokrug Elytis: Eventually I want more haze for foggy days an things like that
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): now when the bards sing the song of the wastes. neo will also be named the moon tamer
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Eeeeeee.
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): or dust storms :D
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): hehehe
NeoBokrug Elytis: And dust storms.
NeoBokrug Elytis: Lightning stikes.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Weird greenish skies for thunderstorms?
NeoBokrug Elytis: stuff.
Memory Harker: Dust storms? THAT would be mega awesome.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: ….uhoh
NeoBokrug Elytis: ANy questions about weather before we move on to things that LL made me scramble for last week?
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Bringing back the old acid rain that can tell when you’re under an overhang?
Memory Harker: It is Saturday, right? So Neo the Moon Tamer … and Aposiopesis the Tune Maimer!
Aposiopesis Fullstop: HAH!
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): :D
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): *rimshot*
NeoBokrug Elytis: Haha maybe Apo
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Will Wild Plants know when it’s been raining?
Aposiopesis Fullstop: And need less water from us as a result?
NeoBokrug Elytis: Yes, I hope
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): will manimals look extra fluffy from static electricity right before a thunder storm?
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Hahaha!
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): Eep! =o.O=
Rax Stooge: help
Memory Harker: HAHAHA
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): ohhhh yes :D
NeoBokrug Elytis: So last week LL rolled out some fixes for llRequestSimulatorData(), which unintentionally hobbled the salvage system.
Memory Harker: omg so kewwwwwwwt!
NeoBokrug Elytis: Putting a crate on a region is a lot more work than you think.
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): super fluffy fish
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): super fluffy Storm =w=
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne) starts growing purple fuzz . . .
Memory Harker: XD
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): sorm always super fluffy
NeoBokrug Elytis: All but a few crates spawn from this region here. They all poll data bout the regions in the estate before navigating across regions and landing at their final detination.
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): oooh, so it’s not a thing per region.
NeoBokrug Elytis: The system I have has mostly been working just great for over a decade. But it relies heavily on llRequestSimulatorData() to even begin it’s journey. First it takes account of which regions are online, and their current grid coordinates (yes that’s a bit OCD, but if a region ever moves, less will break)
NeoBokrug Elytis: If a region if offline it tries to move around it.
NeoBokrug Elytis: That being said, crates also keep track of if a region it’s on is going offline. Because I literally don’t want to be spammed to death about crates being returned from going offworld, or being returned for any reason.
Memory Harker: *totally gets that*
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): send all messages to memory. makes memory overflow.
Memory Harker gives that Witch a side-eye.
NeoBokrug Elytis: llRequestSimulatorData() again is used. The problem is, the function is SILENTLY and RANDOMLY failing. I had a timer to detect this, and befoer this week I would just poll all the data I needed all at once. It wasn’t “nice”, but the function had it’s own 1 second delay so I though that was nice enough. Tracking down the bug when something SILENTLY fails is super annoying.
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer) now has a side eye. does not know what to do with it right know. but keeps it for bad days.
Irk (shannonwilsonbell): brb
Memory Harker gives that Witch a side-ear, too. The better to hear that sidereal time …
NeoBokrug Elytis: To try to fix the bug, I updated code that was a decade old, just re-wrote it all to be nicer and the problem still persists. So instead of it failing and then killing the crate, it now makes another attempt and does some llOwnerSay to let me know there was an error.
NeoBokrug Elytis: So I am getting errors like this all day if I am in or near this region:
NeoBokrug Elytis: common: Dataserver Timeout (Online check): North Yard
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Haha!
NeoBokrug Elytis: I’ve filed a detailed JIRA about it, because pretty much half the spawn was dead until it was fixed.
NeoBokrug Elytis: For now the work-around is annoying for me, but keeps the game going.
Memory Harker: Neo, it’s like the system is punishing you for your good efforts. :(
NeoBokrug Elytis: Memory Harker: Neo, it’s like the system is punishing you for your good efforts. :(
common: Dataserver Timeout (Online check): The Rot
NeoBokrug Elytis: Yes.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: :C
NeoBokrug Elytis: I’ve tried everything to fix it before re-doing the code.
NeoBokrug Elytis: Nothin’.
NeoBokrug Elytis: Any questions about the horrible moon and/or game things?
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Are the moon phases going to continue in the same cycle they currently are, or get a restart when the new textures come in?
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): why does LL not like us to have nice stuff?
NeoBokrug Elytis: They will restart.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Oho!
NeoBokrug Elytis: Because I use code in ways they didn’t anticipate Cc.
Candide LeMay: meaning you’re using the code at all
NeoBokrug Elytis: Hah!
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): they need Anticipation Linden very badly on there team

III. THE ROLEPLAY & EVENTS

NeoBokrug Elytis: Before I open the floor to Events and RP Discussion; I wanted to let you all know about two new-ish regular events.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Aren’t there three new ones?
NeoBokrug Elytis: Yes
NeoBokrug Elytis: Three
NeoBokrug Elytis: Diamanda is having Unstructured Playtime on Thursdays before Booze and Blather at 5pm SLT — where she plays real instruments and sings with her sing-hole
Diamanda Gustafson: Damn my timing is impeccable
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): oooooh
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): speaking of the devil
Diamanda Gustafson: so it’s a non-concert really
Aposiopesis Fullstop pecks Dia’s timing anyway.
NeoBokrug Elytis: Gomi is showing movies un Sundays at 5pm.
Diamanda Gustafson: i just derp around with my loop pedal and you follow along :P
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): so B&B could have a bard?
Diamanda Gustafson: I don’t do the B word, but close.
NeoBokrug Elytis: Lillie is going to sing things on Wednesdays at 5pm too
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): good movies or bad movies?
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Haha!
Diamanda Gustafson: BAD MOVIES
NeoBokrug Elytis: All the music folk needs to get together and collaborate. :)
Diamanda Gustafson: sacrilegiously bad movies
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): mmmm sacrelicious
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): great! :D
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): some might be badder than others
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa) also sees a feeeshhh on Apo’s head
Diamanda Gustafson: the competition is fierce
Aposiopesis Fullstop: He makes a fine hat.
NeoBokrug Elytis: We’re mostly using Discord to organize things these days. so here’s you’re invite if you’re not on our server: https://discord.gg/cdkhzb4QCh
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): thats wl: chique mitsy
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): fishhat fishhat, roly poly fishhat
NeoBokrug Elytis: It will let you know of upcoming events easily if you click interested on them.
NeoBokrug Elytis: Anyway, we’re going to have War Zone in Hambone Slough at 3pm. Until then, open floor for RP & Events dicussion!
NeoBokrug Elytis: Thanks again Sandling!
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): where can I get a fish hat?
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): any interest in posting the end results of Booze and Blather?
Sandling Honey: Most welcome of course :D
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): i addet a cage for fist fights or something near the shatterdome in the fissure. its triangular. feel free to use it i need fertilizer.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Ooooh…..
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): :O
Irk (shannonwilsonbell): I have to lose the Mutant Village at the end of the week so if anyone wants to party there now is the time. Thank you to everyone who contributed to keep things alive this long.
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): :/
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): Awww :(
NeoBokrug Elytis: Keep a backup. :)
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): aww. i will miss it
Memory Harker: It’s such a lovely village, Irk!
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa) nods
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Awwww, that’s sad to hear, Irk. But it’s such a great build. I hope it comes back someday!
Irk (shannonwilsonbell): It has been a glorious fulfillment of vision and I’m satisfied. :)
Diamanda Gustafson: yay then!
Aposiopesis Fullstop: :D
NeoBokrug Elytis: And it is memorialized in a video with a catchy song
Memory Harker: Yay! *smiles*
Irk (shannonwilsonbell): Yeah!
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): yesh!
Memory Harker: Ha! That is is, Neo!
Memory Harker: Renowned throughout the grid!
Aposiopesis Fullstop: I’m going to be working on turning the ruins south of The N into a good training area / learning area about Wastelands combat – training dummies, walkways to maneuver, info on the weapons themselves. And, per some of the discussion at Booze & Blather on Thursday night, Malice may be willing to help train folks who want to get more versed in combat.
Diamanda Gustafson: nifty!
Memory Harker: Will he makes us call him “Sensei” … ?
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): and I gotta start making more knives :P
Diamanda Gustafson: More than probably Hammurabi.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Hahaha!
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): im still gona call him ewww whats that smell
Diamanda Gustafson: Legit.
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): LOL
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): You Bastard is also apt.
Aposiopesis Fullstop: There’s a general initiative to get folks armed up so we can eventually raid the Sand Seas, find Multa, and kick him in his giant stupid ass.
Irk (shannonwilsonbell): About time.
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer) loos down “I’m plenty armed”
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): Will take donations of ammo bits, then store or sell the made ammo back to you at fair exchange rates
ɱʋʈֆƴ Ƙαɭίɠλѡɚ (mutsy.kaligawa): *rimshot* ? xD
NeoBokrug Elytis: Next week is Fight Night. :)
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): yayyyyyyy!!!
Diamanda Gustafson: yay violence!
Aposiopesis Fullstop: There may be some random Wasted Karaoke sometime in March on an idle Friday. We shall find out. Unless there’d be a better time for it!
Aposiopesis Fullstop: Trying to find something that isn’t the ass-end of an event, but when people are actually… around.
NeoBokrug Elytis: I will need a little bit of extra setup time for Warzone in Hambone. Did you know the first Warzone was in Hambone Slash? It was a full region back then. Anyway, I’m heading over there! I hope we’ve got enough people to play. :)
NeoBokrug Elytis: People are going to run all over your house fish.
The Mutant Witch of the Wastes (ccindy.pfeffer): will there be a maltase falcon that we can hunt with tamed buzzards?
Aposiopesis Fullstop: And it used to be between RP clans only!
Beatrix (beatrix.washborne): will play til I crash again
NeoBokrug Elytis: Hambone is light on the FPS. :)
