Below is a short summary of the latest Community Meeting, followed by its chat logs – which have been gently edited for formatting, to put questions and answers in bold for easy skimming, and to omit greetings and farewells and other such asides. Meetings are hosted by Estate owner NeoBokrug Elytis at 2:00 pm on the first Saturday of every month at The Potato Farm in The Wastelands, and the discussion is typically divided into three main topics: Estate, Game, and Roleplay & Events. Everyone is welcome to attend!
ESTATE:
Region Rebuilds!
➳ North Yard and The Sand Seas are soon to receive makeovers.
➳ These will leverage the new larger maximum prim-link distance, allowing bigger infrastructure builds.
➳ North Yard will come first: an easily-navigated tiered cliff structure and a more prominent beach. The Sand Seas, being more complex, will be rebuilt later
➳ The existing landmarks of the Sand Seas will be completely removed, and the North Yard cave exit will close.
➳ Due to the larger parcel sizes and changes to prim counts, there will be a new pricing structure in these regions, as well.
➳ Neo needs to figure out the details of parcel sizes and prim counts before any designs can be finalized.
➳ Land sales are suspended in those regions until the rebuild is over, and the current residents have been relocated.
➳ Neo is working on a new tier meter that will make all of a landowner’s parcels due on the same day.
➳ More work will be done on Northgate this month.
➳ Defying the usual summer slump, occupancy continues to hold steady.
GAME:
➳ Since ingredient locations will become inaccessible, Aeg’s Potion Quest will need to be altered, or briefly suspended, during the North Yard and Sand Seas remodel.
➳ Neo discovered a bug in the new pathfinding code that is cauasing the Miasmata to be returned more often than expected.
➳ When this code is fixed, it can be applied to Dust Devils and possibly Buzzards – along with the Buzzards’ new combat code.
➳ Harvesting cacti currently does not reward EXP – and the cactus code has been lost, so they would need to be rebuilt.
ROLEPLAY & EVENTS:
➳ PIZZA DAY took place at Burnt Oak on July 29, featuring an all-day movie marathon of surprise selections by regular and irregular projectionists. The final roster: REAL GENIUS, THE PIZZA TRIANGLE, ENCINO MAN, LABYRINTH, and HOUSE PARTY.
➳ The all-day, semi-in-character traders’ festival of the RONDYVOO returns on Saturday, September 16!
➳ Drifter has been wanting to show some much longer films – perhaps on Friday evenings.
➳ There have been some deep discusions lately at Booze & Blather – and fewer bar brawls.
➳ Oracle readings still take place on the first Sunday of the month, for those who’d scry their futures from their scrap.
➳ There’s still no fixed schedule for Fight Night.

NeoBokrug Elytis: I have also been working on the tier system a bit. Since I have been in there I am going to take a stab at an “all on the same day” meter. Which in my head works like such:

NeoBokrug Elytis: It’ll look at which parcel has the most tier. Calculate all your other parcels and add single days to bring them up to what that parcel is. Then present you with a price that should put them all on the same day as the parcel with the most tier.
